"Have you ever wished you were blessed with "a born knack for baking"? Stop your wishing!" So begins this antique cookbook by the General Foods Corporation in 1933. This is a beautiful promotional cookbook with full-color illustrations, black & white photography, tips, techniques, and recipes devoted to the art and craft of home baking.

Like so many other companies of the day, General Foods published this book to promote its products. In this case, Swan Flour and Calumet Baking Powder. That said, modern substitutes will work just fine for the recipes.
